As I’ve begun to grasp my role as a Father, I’m constantly looking to others for advice and sage words. There are so many wonderful Fathers out there and I’m grateful for the knowledge they pass along. These are a few quotes I’ve found that I love to read when thinking about the title of Father. Being a Father to me is more than just a responsibility, it’s a divine calling.
It was my father who taught me to value myself. He told me that I was uncommonly beautiful and that I was the most precious thing in his life.
My father was my teacher. But most importantly he was a great dad.
The sacred title of Father is shared with the Almighty.
-Ezra Taft Benson

– Frank Abagnale
My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.
– Jim Valvano
I think my mom put it best. She said, ‘Little girls soften their daddy’s hearts.’
Mothers play an important role as the heart of the home, but this in no way lessens the equally important role fathers should play, as head of the home, in nurturing, training, and loving their children.
– Ezra Taft Benson
I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a Father’s protection.
“Indeed, one of the greatest things a father can do for his children is to love their mother.”
-Howard W. Hunter
