Ashley's Famous Meatloaf

So many of you have asked from our recent postings about Ashley’s recipe for her meatloaf! So here it is! Give a try and let me know if your family loves it as much as ours! This has been a meal that all 6 of have loved and will continue to do so for many years!

2-4lbs of hamburger, depending on size of family ( I like to buy the 93/7, less greasy!)

2 cans tomato sauce

1 can tomato paste

1 tsp of Season Salt (add more as you wish)

2 eggs (lightly beaten)

2 slices of bread (broken up)

10-15 saltine  crackers

1 Splash of milk

1/4 cup of brown sugar

1 Orange Pepper diced up

1/2 of an Onion diced up

Salt and Pepper to liking

All of these ingredients can be mixed together, no particular order. You can grease pan if you’d like, depending on pan, some may not  need it. Add loaf to pan.

Sauce on top Ingredients:

1/2 cup of ketchup

1 can tomato paste

3 Tablespoons of brown sugar

10 drops of Worchester sauce

Add this sauce however you like to the top of the meatloaf. Ash usually just drizzles it over the top.

Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour (1 hour 15 minutes for bigger loaf).

Great side dishes:

Baked Potato Loaded

Green Beans

Garden Salad
