Ashley’s Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

Hey guys! Overwhelmed by the response for this recipe! Without any more chatter, here it is!

Ingredients:

2-3 chicken breast

8 cups of Chicken Broth

6 celery sticks

8 carrots

2 packages or Frozen Grandmas Noodles

6 cubes of chicken bouillon

1/2 package of frozen peas (2 cups)

Take noodles out of freezer and let them start defrosting before you start the other steps.

Cook the raw chicken in the Chicken Broth and Bouillon for 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked.

While chicken is cooking, add in celery and carrots. I usually cut up the carrots and celery while chicken is cooking and add as I go.

Once chicken is cooked, remove from Broth and cut into cubes, or however you like it served in your soup. Add it back into broth.

At this point, start separating the noodles and add to broth. DO NOT PUT IN AS A LUMP, THEY WILL NOT COOK EVENLY!!!

Cook on a high rolling boil about 20 minutes or until noodles are at desired texture.

About 5 minutes before finished, add the peas. They only need a few minutes to cook.

* Ash likes the noodles harder and I like them softer, so this could vary depending on who you’re cooking for!
