Here we go with Scarlett!
Nicknames: Scarley Barley, Barles in Charge, Squirrel
Favorite Food: Chinese Noodles, Cereal
Favorite Show: Peppa Pig
Favorite Activity: Reading, Riding her Tricycle, Playing Outside
Scarlett has grown leaps and bounds over the last few months. You can literally see the changes in her physical appearance and especially her speech and interactions. She has really come out of her cocoon, and her friendly spirit is contagious to all who are around her. I feel like Scarlett has always been kind of a lone ranger, and she still holds true to that title most days, although she will interact with the group when prompted.
Scarlett is our most inquisitive daughter. She loves to ask questions, and she listens very intently when you answer. You can tell when she’s asking you, she’s really thought of the question. I love when we answer, she always repeats our answer to confirm. Its hilarious! Her cute little face tilted to the side as she asks and ponders your answer. She loves learning and understanding how the world works!
Scarlett is probably the least dominant of the girls. She usually just goes about her business enjoying whatever activity she is doing. She doesn’t need to be calling the shots like Esme, but prefers to just roll with the punches. She doesn’t always follow the pack either. Most times, she’ll be heading her own direction. I love this trait of hers. She’s not afraid to leave the crowd and explore on her own.
Scarlett is definitely a daddy’s girl. Its kind of been that way from the beginning. I hope that it never ends!
Personally, I think Scarlett looks the most like her mother. Maybe its her middle name that she shares with her that did it. I guess in any instance they all look like neither of us, or both of us. You be the judge!
Scarlett and Evie has a unique bond. At times it is very friendly and they definitely seem like a dynamic duo; but at other times they can be really competitive with one another. I think that’s just sibling rivalry at its finest, although I hope for more of the dynamic duo. These two also are the ones that like to horse around when its bed time. Indie and Esme will settle right down; these two will talk and giggle for hours!
Scarlett loves her Tricycle and her Scooter. She loves riding up and down the sidewalks as fast as she can smiling at you as she goes by! She loves going for walks or rides, and is usually out front leading the way. She gets on her bike and just hops into another gear!
Scarlett out of all the quads loves Bentley the least. She’s always been this way. She just doesn’t really gravitate toward him that much. Interesting though, she loves horses. She was so excited when we went and rode horses last month. It was one of her favorite things and she talked about it for weeks. Maybe she just needs a bigger pet!
Scarlett loves most foods. Pizza, pasta, veggies, and fruit! She definitely loves cold cereal! LOL
Scarlett loves to smile. I feel like most days, she’s always smiling at me! Its very contagious too. Just melts your heart!
Scarlett loves her Papa and her Uncles! She’s always kind of gravitated towards the men in the family. They love every second of it!
That being said, she really has a soft spot for Madison. I think they acquired a bond early on, and she just loves when her favorite Aunt comes to visit! There was a time there for a while where she only wanted to go to Madison for everything! Hugsy soaked that up!
Scarlett’s favorite toys are the ones that have many pieces! LOL. She loves Shopkins, Hatchimals, and her princess dolls. She loves to get them all in her playhouse and organize and then re-organize.
That leads me into her next quality. Scarlett is very organized. She likes to keep her things all in one place. If she’s got her make-up, its neatly tucked into her bag. She lays her dolls out on her bed nice and neat before she gets into bed to be tucked in. She delicately eats her meals, usually one side at a time. She’s like her mother this way. She doesn’t like her food touching. LOL
Scarlett is always our picture perfect daughter. If its picture time, she’s always ready and recently has been giving the best faces! We just love it and soak in as many as I can get! Its nice when at least one wants her picture taken! LOL
Scarlett is the quietest of the bunch. She doesn’t talk loud like Esme or Evie, and rarely screams like Indie. She just goes about life on her level, never really deviating off course. Its actually kind of fascinating to watch as a parent. She’s definitely going to grow up and be the sister with the most patience!
Scarlett brings so many wonderful qualities to our family. She is very kind and giving with her sisters. She rarely causes drama or fights. She is usually pretty eager to obey mom and dad. She loves when family and friends come over to visit. She loves most activities and participates with a smile on her face. She is very good at entertaining herself. She isn’t needy at all. God has given her many great talents, and with talents responsibility to share with the world. She’s going to make a big difference in the world, and I think she’s already began that journey even now!
