First Time Playing In The Snow!

Saturday was a magical day for the Gardner Quad Squad! It was the first time ever that the girls got to go play in the snow! We all had so much fun, especially the durls! They did not want to come back inside!

Mom had been planning this for weeks, even going to the extend of online ordering every piece of winter clothing the girls would need! Does anybody remember the movie “A Christmas Story”? By the time we were finished, the girls looked like Ralphie’s little brother! Here’s a shot of them just before they stepped out the front door!

Gearing up!

All 4 of them were mesmerized by the snow! At first Scarlett and Indie were a little apprehensive to move in the snow, but soon picked up the pace!

Evie and Esme were leading the way, not afraid to go and explore. This wasn’t shocking to us of course.

We definitely had some nose dives!

Mom wanted to get a pick with all of the girls. Can you imagine taking them away from exploring to sit on  a park bench and take a picture? You can imagine how that went, and here’s the photo to show you!

Esme loved eating the snow!

We continued exploring the park, the girls all getting  very comfortable in the snow. Ironically, mom and dad hate being outside in the snow, but the girls seemed to have found a second home. We’re in trouble!

Here’s one of each of the girls. Wonder what they are thinking?

We got a few more fun pics, and circled the park a few more times. The girls really worked up an appetite for lunch. I haven’t seen them so excited and animated since Christmas! It was so fun to watch their excitement and revisit our own childhood and remember back when. Seeing the world through a child’s viewpoint really puts into perspective just how awesome life is! There is so much to enjoy and be thankful for. We both were thankful for this moment we had with our miracles just enjoying a snow day with nothing else on our minds!
