This is a meal my brother-in-law made for our family on a campout one weekend. It has since become a staple in our home as it hearty, healthy, and delicious! Check it out!
Steak- You can choose your cut, we use the cut up stew meat you an get at any meat department.
Mild Sausage Links (uncooked)- I like Johnsonville.
1 can of corn
1 can of green beans
1 can of diced tomatoes – You can use stewed or italian if you want a little more flavor.
Potatoes- I like to use the mini potatoes you can buy in the mixed bags. Just toss them in the pot, no mess.
Seasoning- as desired.
Add steak and sausage to bottom of crockpot. Place potatoes on top, then veggies. Do not drain veggies, as the juice is what the stew will cook in!
Set crock pot to low and cook for 6-8 hours. If you are in a bit of time rush, you can put on high for 5-6 hours, although you might sacrifice the meats tenderness!
Meal is ready to enjoy! Easy, delicious, and pretty cost efficient for a family meal! Enjoy!
