This year was certainly one that will leave many memories in our hearts and minds. We’ve had such a wonderful year with many new changes, trials, successes, and of course joy and happiness! God has been very good to our family, and today I want to thank him for all that we have.

First of all I wanted to thank my Heavenly Father for my family. We have been so richly blessed with our children, but also with our brothers, sisters, parents, and grandparents. Ashley and I truly come from very kind and generous people who have served the Lord and served their families well. They have all been good examples to us of what is good in the world, and given us something to strive for. They have taught us what hard work can accomplish, and to never give up on our dreams. They’ve been there for us when times were tough, and when times were the best we’ve seen. They are a constant reminder of Heavenly Father’s plan for each of us, and we are eternally grateful for each and every one of them!

We’re grateful for all of you! Our social media following has been a blessing beyond words. You have been with us every step of the way, cheering us on, giving us strength, and showing us the unconditional love that our savior Jesus Christ taught. How eternally grateful we are to each and every one of you. Your examples lighten our days, and inspire us to do better, and be better. Thank you!

We are grateful for the this choice land that we live in. America means so much to us, but most definitely we cherish our freedoms. How blessed are we that we live in a country we can choose our own destiny. Our children can grow and be taught and choose to follow their dreams. The short heritage of our country is yet another great example of why it is so great. It has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. We are thankful for those who have come before us, giving their lives for our liberties; sacrificing everything they had, so we could have everything we would ever need. Freedom is not something to be taken lightly, and I hope we can teach our children how very important the founding of our country was and the meaning of liberty and freedom. We are very thankful for where we live.

We are so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who has constantly and benevolently loved us. He has given us so many opportunities and blessings and made our lives better than we could have ever imagined alone. He strengthens us daily with his love and desire for us to succeed. He has been an example of all that is good, giving and charitable, loving us unconditionally. We owe him so much and the only way I can thing to thank him is to honor him by following his commandments and example of love to all.

Finally, we are eternally grateful for our savior Jesus Christ. The promise of eternal life with our families is made possible because of the sacrifice he made for each and every one of us. He was the perfect example of compassion, charity, obedience, and unconditional love. We believe in him with all of our hearts, and we strive to teach our children of his importance in our lives daily. He has given us so much, and again all we can do is honor him by choosing to serve those around us as he did. We are not perfect as he was, but we can learn from his perfect example to serve and help others as opportunities are given to us. Because we have been given much, we too must give!

Thank you all for always listening to and reading my words I write here in my family journal. I appreciate your feedback as always and wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas season!
